Hmmm Lakeland Revival...

In this particular picture Nana is studying a spider web... I wonder if the two are related? Just a thought.

Here is a link to a well put together blog about the Lakeland revival, by Sharon... Click here.
And here is one more article about the evangelist "Todd Bentley"
Let me know whatcha think.

Here's a good question - do tattoo's and piercings keep one from being used of God?

I noticed in the article linked that it was stated that Bentley has "demonic piercings". Maybe I'm naive, but I don't know what "demonic piercings" look like? I assume pierced ears wouldn't be considered "demonic"?

Hi Eric, thanks for your comment, I always enjoy meeting new people.

I agree. I really don’t think how he looks has anything to do with it, until you consider the fact that he never had these piercings and tats, until the last year, and he has been preaching for more than 6-7 years… At that point, I have to ask, why? What is his motive? To my knowledge, tats are painful, I know piercings are painful (well it hurt when I got my ears pierced). Why does he feel the need to torture himself? I don’t think God holds it against you if you are tatted everywhere, and get saved, He can still use you, but if you are saved, why would you want to do that?

What concerns me is not his outward appearance but that people are trusting in him in place of God. We are living in such bad and hard times, people want and need something to hold onto, something to give them hope and to raise their spirits. God doesn't always answer our prayers the way we want Him to, but he does answer if we will listen and obey, we can hear him. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow and that is where our faith and hope should be, not in man.
