Tymothie and Juliannah got a giunea pig for Christmas... His name is Cookie Dough... lol cause he is the color of cookie dough. As the picture shows, they are having fun!

Sneaky Sister

My sneaky sister called me a couple of weeks ago and told me this whole long spiel about how she and her neighbor had decided that there are some things that a neighborhood should only have one of... Griddles among them. Then she asked if we had a griddle... to which I answered no... We do now.

This was two of my favorite moments about yesterday... Que knew that we were getting him a tool box, what he didn't know was I put a tool in it. So, I put a combo lock on it, and put it unwrapped under the tree, and he spent many minutes trying to figure out the code... In the end the stinker opened it and changed the code on me! However, he didn't look inside untill Christmas Morning, for the kids sake.

Also, my In-laws gave Que and I matching watches.

Santa Has Amnesia!

Oh no Santa had a sleighing accident, and after a bump on the head doesn't remember who he is. The children had to help him regain his memory.

A toy train didn't work.

a tree and presents didn't work.



The audience cheered,

They even stood and sung Joy to the World with the carolers.

Nothing seamed to work. Until...

They told him the Christmas story, how Jesus was born. Finally Santa remembered who he was!

My Nativity this year.

Is very special this year... My kids make it out of Sculpey (I made the palm tree you see with it) It is on a glass table, that is why the background looks kinda funny... No you aren't seeing things, the wise men do get progressively smaller... My Matt's since of humor...

A few of my favorite things!

This is my Most favorite one! My mom gave it to me, it is about 2 feet tall.


This is probably my second favorite one. My mother in love gave it to me. The standing characters are about a foot tall... It is over 30 years old, she and my father in love had it when they were married...
Look closely and you will see the little Mary I made standing beside this Mary... See the difference? It's huge!

And this has to be #3... Some students in my Sunday School Class gave it to me for Christmas about 4 years ago... it is a Jim Shore... I really really really really really want to get the wise men and Shepards that match it. Really.

Ha throwback to the 70's Melted plastic... I love this thing.

My hubby bought this one for me... I love the huge angel and how it is surrounded by candles.

And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care...
