It is a small church, but a beautiful one. Here are some pictures I took.
This is inside the foyer, looking up at the chandelier.
I am such a symmetry loving person, I love this foyer... it is mirrored. If you walk in and look forward you see the double doors going in to the hall way in front of the sanctuary, that mirrors the front doors. If you look up, you see the chandelier. The cross you see in this pic, is above the doors going further in. If you were able to see the opposite wall, there is another cross in the sheet rock above the front doors. As you are standing in the foyer, to your right and left, are stairs leading up to the balcony, all perfectly symmetric. God has such a sense of humor, to build this church for us.
Here is a look back, from the hall at the front doors. See the pretty blue accent wall, and nice tile floor...
This is what the front doors look like with my children standing in them... lol
This is a view of the sanctuary, looking down from the balcony. I love the pretty little track lighting, there are sconces to match on the walls where the stairs are. The nifty thing, is the picture on the screen on the wall here is a picture of the church from the outside and I took it, and had just given it to them, after I photoshopped out some pesky power lines.
Then here from the sanctuary you can see the stairs on are on either side going up to the balcony. See the pretty detailing on the rails, It alternates between a patch of dogwood, and a cross. How pretty.
God is awesome to have blessed us with this. We hope to honor Him with this gift.
I should explain why I was singing "We are the Champions" When we mentioned that we were going to "try out" as pastors at this church, a pastor friend of ours made the comment, "Let the beauty Padget begin!" So on Sunday Juliannah said "Did Daddy win?"

Yeah, ditto on the tag. VBS time= no time for anything else! Work, VBS, sleep, work, VBS, sleep, work...
now for some pics of the real "church" -- you know, the people! Congrats! May you be blessed and the church along with you. How far away do you live from there?
Hey Andi, for some reason this comment got lost. We live about 20 minutes from the church. Not bad at all. We want to buy a house in that area, and move closer in a a couple of years.
