Got this from Deanna,
What was I ranting about the other day? Watch this.
You go girl!
I have heard it said... "I've never met anyone who was for abortion who hadn't already been born."

A prayer request
I dare not speculate which one, but here is one of them loving on Fred, Shannon will probably be able to tell at a glance. I think I have avoided this post because it makes me sad.
A little over two years ago, my sister and her dear husband , and their three children (two girls and a boy) decided to enter the ministry. Not your typical ministry, but yet a very important one. They agreed to become foster parents. They decided there was a little boy out there who needed the love their family could give. Specifically a boy, to room with their only boy. However, God in his sense of humor decided to give her a hand full... Identical twin boys 13 months old, 12 days before Christmas.
These little guys own us all. We love them so dearly. If you ask them,"What does Aunt DaNella say?" they will say "Smile!" because I am always chasing them with my camera.
The part of this post that makes me sad is in March they have a court date, and may be reunited with their bio mom. If this is best for them, as hard as it will be, that is what we all want. However, a part of us would like to pray that they will be ours for good. Help us to pray for GOD'S will and not our own. We are claiming Jeramiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for the twins, says the Lord, plans for a hope and a future". He cares more than even we do.
So if you think about it, and get a chance pray for the "twinlets" as I call them.
My mom pointed out, if nothing else, if they are placed back with bio mom, they will ALWAYS have someone, several someones praying for them.

Puleeeeeeeease!
Say it ain't so. There is a local guy here who hid and embombed body for two years, because the family hadn't paid for the cremation. Sure I understand he needed his money, but my goodness don't hang on to the body. Now he may face 5 to 10 years in prison. He is charged with a felony something about mistreating a corpse... Please give me a break. It's legal to kill a baby in the name of convenience, but my heavens, let us not do anything to a dead body. Don't get me wrong what he did was wrong. But what is this world coming to?

What Am I?
Ok this one is easy... I just think it is sooooooo cool. I love my "new" lens.
I do have another blog now... also. Yeah I know I really needed another blog. It is something I have been considering for a long time, I wanted to start one for my Photography, but I didn't want to have nothing to post until my business picked up. Then I heard about Project 365, your year in pictures. So for filler I will post everyday pictures. So here is a link.

Promised birthday pics
Here are some glimpses from my card from my most wonderful Hubby. Mostly I just like playing with my "New" (Becky said I can call it new for at least a year...) Lens... And well it was sorta a married-peoples-only-understand-card... and I know a lot of my readers are 11-14 (my Nieces and my kids namely)
I will tell you the last line was you are that special someone who makes my life complete.
Coressa from church gave me this lovely three candle tree. I love it!
Sam searched me out some Daffodils! Everyone knows those are my favorite flower!
Sam made me a dessert Pizza for my Birthday.

Not Bad For 36...
Thanks to all my friends for the Birthday wishes. I don't look half bad if I do-say-so-myself. I am 36. Yes I admit my real age. I have earned all 36 of my years.
My darling son and daughter went scavenging in the woods and found a daffodil growing wild, and dug it up, bulb and all and planted it by the porch for me... My favorite flower is the daffodil... Awww.

I have a problem...
(Doesn't really fit, I just love the picture!)
Hi, my name is DaNella Auten, I am 35, almost 36 years old and I have a problem. I have S.S.S.R.T.A. Singular Section of Song Repeated To Annoyance. Ok so I made up the name but the problem is real. There is this stupid song that some secular person decided needed a Grammy, that annoys the snot out of me. The song is about an ungodly action that is now accepted in this society. It is something that is clearly unchristian, but who says this is a Christian nation anymore?
My biggest problem with this song is my SSSRTA. I only know a section of the song, but I will repeat this singular section of song over and over and over and over… You get the idea. It is so bad I have gone to great lengths to avoid hearing it. Since some silly person decided it needed a Grammy, the Grammy awards commercials have been on tv all the time lately, so if I see that commercial come on I will grab the remote and change the channel long enough for it to be over. The other day the remote wasn’t near, but I so desperately did not want to hear the song that I literally put my hands over my ears, and started singing… “la la la la la la la la” My husband looked at me as if I had lost my mind and said what are you doing? So I explained to him that I didn’t want to hear that song, or I will start singing it. He understood.
A day or so later in another conversation the song came on tv again, and in the middle of talking he stopped and started saying “la la la la la” at first I kinda looked at him, but then I realized he was trying to help me avoid that song.
As I was laughing at myself for taking such great lengths to avoid a silly little song, it occurred to me that we don’t try nearly as hard to avoid sin. Think about it. We all have that “pet sin” the one that is hardest to give up. We know it is wrong, and we know we shouldn’t do it, but we justify it by pretending it isn’t as bad as we know it is.
God tells us
1Co 10:13 There isn't any temptation that you have experienced which is unusual for humans. God, who faithfully keeps his promises, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your power to resist. But when you are tempted, he will also give you the ability to endure the temptation as your way of escape.
He has provided a way out, but it won’t fall in our lap, we have to work at it. We have to want to let the sin go.
What sin are you “petting?”
