Picture Mania...

If it happens I take a picture of it... Ok. I broke my toe... Much better btw.

Nana ripped her finger a new one... on a wagon somehow... we still don't know how she did it.

Now I guess Tym wanted some attention, so he stepped on a piece of glass... Ouch. We will all recover Praise God... and we have nifty pictures of our battle wounds... lol

It's a Blog Party! This is pretty cool, I haven't ever been to a blog party. Many people, including me, are going to be offering door prizes! Be sure to check it out. If you have a blog, and happen to be Assembly of God, be sure to join the A/G Blog ring. It is just a cool way to keep up with other believers...

Nana and the Craw fish

A craw fish came up in our back yard. Being Nana, in spite of a very badly hurt finger... it is an animal, so she had to pick it up. Brave kid... lol Isn't she cute!!!

The legend of the Dogwood tree

The Bible does not tell us what type of wood the cross Jesus was crucified on was made of. Roman history does not go into specifics as to how the crosses were made or what type of wood they were made of. As a result, we cannot know for sure what type of tree was used to make the cross. There is a legend that it was made of dogwood. This is unlikely considering the typical size of a dogwood tree. The legend of the dogwood tree, author unknown, is as follows:

In Jesus' time, the dogwood grew

To a stately size and a lovely hue.

'Twas strong & firm it's branches interwoven

For the cross of Christ its timbers were chosen.

Seeing the distress at this use of their wood

Christ made a promise which still holds good:

"Never again shall the dogwood grow

Large enough to be used so

Slender & twisted, it shall be

With blossoms like the cross for all to see.

As blood stains the petals marked in brown

The blossom's center wears a thorny crown.

All who see it will remember me

Crucified on a cross from the dogwood tree.

Cherished and protected this tree shall be

A reminder to all of my agony."

Again, this is just a "legend." It is a nice poem, but there is no Biblical basis to it. The legend of the dogwood tree is very likely not accurate.
This is not original to me, but the pictures are.

Ok so I know I need to blog, but 3AM?

Yeah it is 3AM and all is well. Well except I can't sleep... I am getting so excited! This book is something I have dreamed about for 5 years now.

We are in the final edits... it is almost time! I do have a favor to ask of you.
I have had several requests for my book. As the author I will only get about 5 copies for free. The rest have to be paid for by me somehow (of course I do get a discount). Since my two oldest children want one, and of course I will give my beloved Mum-in-law one, and then there is my parents, and my sister... you get the idea, that is chewing into the free ones quick.
This is where the favor comes in, I will set up a place here on my blog, and another on my Microbursts! Myspace At these links you can buy the book from me. The favor is I am asking those of you who know Jesus personally and have a relationship with him to buy a copy from me, so that I can use the profit from those to buy some from myself to give away to the unsaved.
The potential in this book is amazing. There is just something about it, I have been told it has the appeal of the Chicken Soup books. We have all read at least a part of one of those. I believe it has an amazing power to reach the lost. It is my prayer that it will not only encourage Christians, but draw in the unsaved.
I am excited!!!! However, I am sleepy now, so I am gonna go back to sleep.
Love ya,
DaNella
P.S. Thanks to Anna L. Wight for the new pics of me you will be seeing, she did a fablous job. If you want to know more about her, visit her website, at http://www.annalwightphotography.com/ or just click here.

Forgive me Bloggies for I have sinned...

Well sorta, I haven't blogged in a long time.

Here is a picture of me, my beautiful girls, and my wonderful Mother-in-law Vickie. Don't we look nice together... If you didn't know better you'd think she was my mom with the hair... well we both use a box... ;)

Here is a short blog. It is a poem I swiped from my friend Deanna Shrodes blog. I thought it was cute.

"Mama's Nightgown"
This morning, Mama's smiling and humming
and her nightgown's inside out.
The boys are noisy,
the dog's barking,
she doesn't even shout.
And Papa? He's laughing and dancing
through the house, ‘cause
Mama's nightgown is inside out!

by Kristy Dykes

My how I love those days...

Pray for Kristy by the way she was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Unless God intervenes she will go to see him soon. Of course that may be just what He has in mind.

I will trust HIM

I just thought this was pretty. I took it about a year and 1/2 ago. It is amazing how much can change in a year. Last year this time, I did not see God and I did not see how he could be in control of "this."
God is faithful, He has brought us through, and I know he has more in store! I had no idea that just 1 year later I would see my dream of being published coming true. It reminds me of an old Twila Paris song it says "I will trust you Lord when I don't know why, I will trust you Lord till the day I die. I will trust you. I will trust you, I will trust you." I will trust HIM.

I have a publisher!!!!

This is a picture of me signing my publishing contract!

I am so excited! Microbursts! is due out in stores by July of 2008. For my readers who don't live local, I will have some available directly from me. I bet I can even get them autographed... lol

My publisher is Lion & Lamb Publications. I am soooooooo excited.
When I began this blog I had no idea that my dream of being published would come so soon! I say soon. It is soon since i started the blog, only since November of o7. However, my dream of being published has been growing since 2003. A long time.
My father-in-law died, and the job I had been doing, taking care of him ended, and I wound up having to get another. I had been a stay at home mom for 8 years, keeping my kids and taking care of Poppie. Then after he died I wound up working at a Chick-Fil-A... Not where I saw myself at 30. While I was there, God started giving me these quick revelations... They were pretty awesome, the revealed God to me in a different light. Then He would tell me things like "You have to have forgiveness to give forgiveness; you have to give forgiveness to get forgiveness."
Then one night as I was watching Joel Osteen he mentioned something about his new book of devotions that were out, and God just dropped it into my spirit that these revelations He had been giving me would one day be published... and now they are going to!!!!
I wanted you all to be the first to know. Love ya!! DaNella

Sorry!

I have had so much going on I haven't had a lot of time to blog. I have some BIG news coming soon about Microbursts! Keep checking !

I started back to college last week, and I am busy. I have a project that is taking up a lot of my time, and I have been trying to get together some thank you notes for the church that helped us with Christmas.

Probably my most favorite Christmas Present I got, well I am not sure you can call the Microbusts news a Christmas Present, we'll call it a Birthday present. (That is coming up! Feb 17th) So my favorite Christmas Present is http://www.danellaautenphotography.com/ Too cool! If you visit it, have patience with me... I am still getting some of the scripts in.

Here, are some cool pics. The first one, I did NOT take,
but it is cool, it is a pic of a Microburst!

The second is a sunrise thru fog... I did take it.

I have been editing some Christmas pics...

Matt was thrilled with his ripstick... We wrapped the helmet and put it under the tree. After he opened it, we pulled this out and set it beside him, this is the moment he turned and saw it!

Nana was absolutely tickled to get some house shoes... Tymothie was planning who he can shoot with this gun!
Anny was looking forward to painting.
So, this is what you get...
