From the National Weather Service

From The National Weather Service:

In the event of a tornado warning, the National Weather Service advises
all Auburn AL residents to take immediate shelter in Jordon-Hare
Stadium.

A touchdown is highly unlikely to occur there.
Thank you for your
cooperation.

So anybody know any good Auburn Jokes?

I love my hubby!

I love my hubby. Here are some reasons why...

He loves me always.
He is ALWAYS on my side.
He tells me I am beautiful when I don't feel it.
He is a wonderful father.
He is an awesome Pastor.
He is a Godly Man.
He his a man of integrity.
He rocks my socks
He is awesome around the house.
He is good with tools.
He can fix anything.
He tells the kids "You may think it is ok to treat your mother that way, but you WILL NOT treat my wife that way."

Egypt Day!

We had an Egypt day at Co-op. Since Tym and Ann didn't have school today, they went with us. It was fun. Here is Nana clowning around. Also it was a treat for Juliannah, she got to hang around with Julinanna...

Julianna is the daughter of Gail over at the Westie Crew.

Well would ya look at that? I have 5 followers. My only prayer is that I bless one. Is there something on this blog that has blessed you?

I feel so appreciated!

When we got to Church today, Coressa had left a gift for each of us, (Quintin and I) for Pastor's Appreciation Month. Mine was a gift bag with all kinds of goodies, lotion, a candle... and these... I love 'em. I feel sooooo appreciated... What did you do for your pastor? Be sure to tell them that you appreciate all that they do.

SHE's got the whole world in her hands?

Last night as I was going to sleep, I was trying to remember everything I had to do today, all of my schedule, and my kids schedule, and where I had to be and when. As I thought about it, I remembered Juliannah had to take her solar system model into school. Since she normally rides the bus, and the model is almost as big as she is, the logical conclusion was to take her to school. However since the two biggins had to be at the park today also for an exercise class, I needed to take them with me. The thought went through my head "Oh good, it is Nana's day to sit in the front, she can hold the solar system." Then I had to laugh; we worry and worry and fret about how we will handle our problems, while God tells us, "The earth is my footstool." (Isaiah 66:1) He's got it under control.
What little things do you worry about?

It's all a matter of perspective

A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her small daughter was very sick with a fever. She left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication.
She got back to her car and found that she had locked her keys in the car. She didn't know what to do, so she called home and told the baby sitter what had happened. The baby sitter told her that the fever was getting worse. She said,
'You might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door.'
The woman looked around and found an old rusty coat hanger that had been left on the ground, possibly by someone else who at some time had locked their keys in their car. She looked at the hanger and said,
'I don't know how to use this.'
She bowed her head and asked God to send her help. Within five minutes a beat up old motorcycle pulled up, with a dirty, greasy, bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag on his head.
The woman thought, 'This is what you sent to help me?'
But, she was desperate, so she was also very thankful.
The man got off of his cycle and asked if he could help. She said,
'Yes, my daughter Is very sick. I stopped to get her some medication and I locked my keys in my car. I must get home to her. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?
He said, 'Sure.'
He walked over to the car, and in less than a minute the car was opened
She hugged the man and through her tears she said,
'Thank You So Much! You are a very nice man.'
The man replied, 'Lady, I am not a nice man. I just got out of prison today. I was in prison for car theft and have only been out for about an hour.'
The woman hugged the man again and with sobbing tears cried out loud,

'Oh, Thank you God! You even sent me a professional!'
Is - GOD GOOD - or what!?

Also, my Sam has started a blog... go show her some love.

Ok you caught me...

Angie reminded me I neglected to tell about the butterfly. Here is a picture, of Nana (of course) and the butterfly. It flew in the house, and so Nana had to catch it. She loved it. The only problem is Sam is DEATHLY afraid of catterpillars, moths and butterflys... So she really wants to move now, inspite of the fact that Nana put it outside.

And Andi reminded me I didn't post the answer to the moves question. I do apologize. The answer is 17. We have been married 14 years and this is our seventeenth move. To top that, we have lived where we are for 18 mos, lived at the last place 1 year, the place before that 2 years, 1 year before that, and 3 years before that... So, yeah the shortest one was 1 week. We lived in a place for 1 week. Can anyone beat that???

Would you believe...

An Auburn Fan sent me this... Thank you Suzannah!

The rest of the story.

Sorry I had to leave so abruptly. Here is the rest of the story. We woke up on Tuesday, and I happened to look out the kitchen window, and there standing in the yard were two gorgeous horses... lol
So, I yelled for Nana, she loves horses... And Nana, Tym and Ann took a carrot out and fed them. lol Too funny.
We have a farm across the street, they probably escaped... We have taken cows and a goat back to them before....lol

As for the moving, We are moving! yay! We found a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom place to rent in Columbiana... We are soooooooo excited. Especially Sam, she will get her own bedroom, with an attached bathroom. Good stuff!!!!
So I have a trivia question for ya... Q and I have been together for 15 years. Married for 14 of those... How many times do you think we have moved? I'll make it multiple choice...
A. this is our 5th move
B. this is our 9th move
C. this is our 13th move
D. this is our 17th move
Happy guessing... I'll tell you the answer next blog.

So much to post so little time!!!

Sooooo much going on! Ok I have to tell you about the frog, the horses, and the butterfly. There was a frog on my nose, horses in our yard, and a butterfly in the house. We are moving...lol Sounds so silly, but all true! Ok, the frog.

There was a frog in the track of our sliding glass door, at about eye level. I do have a heart, I didn't want to close the door cause I didn't want to kill him. Looking back on what he did, maybe I should have just killed him and got it over with. No, I couldn't do that. I got a belt and touched him with the tip of it thinking he would jump out of the house to safety, but Oh, NOOOO. He couldn't cooperate he must be a rebellious frog... He got mad at me and jumped... let me repeat... JUMPED ON MY NOSE!!! I screamed. I guess the scream scared him and he jumped again, off my nose thankfully, and Nana caught him and I took a picture. See?
Ok, Math class is starting... more about the horse and the butterfly and moving later.

Slumber Party Photo Shoot

My darling Nana had a slumber party for her birthday, so we did a slumber party photo shoot. Having a photographer for a mom has to have some perks... lol Here are some pics. The first two are my Nana. You may not recognise her without a critter in her hands... lol

Happy 21st birthday Daddy. A little early. Or rather late?

The fam

Last year Shannon and I started a tradition. For Daddy's Birthday we take him out to eat. Yes a lot of families do that so we had to put a twist on it. It is just Shannon, Mom and I with Daddy. Just like years ago in a small kitchen around a round dinner table. Shannon has 5 kids, and I have 4, so getting the entire family together is a zoo. So, we decided to just go by ourselves, for some quality time. We really enjoy it. Last night we went to the Texas Roadhouse in Pelham. We were not aware that for birthdays they make you sit on a saddle... Daddy was a good sport. Here are some pics. Oh the reason it says Happy 21st birthday Daddy is because the waitress came over and announced "Danny is here with us celebrating his 21st birthday" lol
My heros Still in love
Shann and I
Daddy is 21
